The Attack on Titan team has shared 99 big updates as part of a huge celebration marking the new holiday, Attack on Titan Day. The Japan Anniversary Association officially recognized September 9th as Attack on Titan Day since Hajime Isayama's manga series started serialization in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine on September 9, 2009. This date holds special significance within the Nine Titans known to exist in the franchise universe. To mark this holiday, the Attack on Titan website collected 99 announcements related to manga, anime, movies, video games, merchandise, and other types of collaboration. Additionally, a new visual featuring all nine Titans along with the Attack on Titan logo was unveiled.

The most surprising development has been from Hajime Isayama, the creator of Attack on Titan, who shared a new image to show his gratitude for fans' support. In addition, Kodansha is offering the first 99 episodes of the anime series for free through its magazine service starting September 9. The Attack on Titan franchise has also launched an official YouTube channel to stream limited anime series live. A special livestream featuring Japanese voice actors discussing their roles in the anime was organized as well.
These are big announcements with important news about the Attack on Titan anime and films. The first film, Guren no Yumiya, will start playing in Japanese theaters starting from October 23, 2026, with special versions like ScreenX, 4DX, and Ultra 4DX. THE LAST ATTACK, which finishes Eren’s story, will also be shown using these formats in the same year. As for gaming, Koei Tecmo Games released a new game called Attack on Titan 3, which will premiere on December 10, 2026.
