Several years after the battle with Majin Buu, Earth enjoys a brief peace. The God of Destruction Beerus awakens from a long sleep, learns of a Saiyan who defeated Frieza, and confronts Goku. This sparks an earth-shattering cosmic battle that threatens the planet and the universe, featuring enhanced animation, new and redrawn scenes, and a reconstructed narrative more faithful to Akira Toriyama’s vision.
