This Privacy Policy applies to movgix.com and MOVGIX services that link to it. “MOVGIX,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of MOVGIX. It does not govern third-party sites or services that have their own privacy practices.

- Account information, such as username, display name, email address, password credentials in hashed form, profile details, and account preferences.
- Community activity, including comments, replies, reviews, ratings, votes, favorites, watchlists, reports, appeals, and moderation-related communications.
- Newsletter information, including email address, subscription status, topic preferences, confirmation status, and unsubscribe activity.
- Messages and files you choose to send through contact or support features.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps, approximate region derived from an IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Security information used to authenticate sessions, prevent abuse, rate-limit requests, and investigate suspicious activity.

Information from other services
If you use Google sign-in, we may receive your Google account identifier, verified email address, name, and other profile information you authorize. Embedded media, social platforms, analytics providers, advertising providers, affiliate networks, and linked websites may separately collect information under their policies.

Where applicable, we rely on performing our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing the service, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention varies by record type. Account content may remain while an account is active; security and moderation records may be retained after removal where needed to prevent abuse; newsletter records may be retained to honor an unsubscribe request. Backups may take additional time to cycle out.
6. Your choices and controls
- Update available account and newsletter preferences through the relevant settings pages.
- Unsubscribe using the link in any marketing newsletter.
- Use Cookie Preferences to accept or reject optional browser storage.
- Request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of eligible information by contacting us.
- Use available account deactivation or deletion controls. Some information may be retained where legally permitted or required.
7. Regional privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and appeal a denied request. You may also have a right to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
We recognize browser-enabled Global Privacy Control signals as a request to reject optional advertising storage in this site’s preference controller. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, subject to verification.
Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children’s privacy
MOVGIX is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Users who are not old enough to consent to these terms under local law should use the service only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian.
9. Security, third parties, and changes
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as MOVGIX changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised policy.
