1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using MOVGIX, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. MOVGIX is intended for a general audience. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize your use.

These Terms apply to movgix.com and related MOVGIX features that link to them. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will receive notice where required.

2. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep account credentials confidential, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless prohibited by law. Usernames must not impersonate others, violate rights, mislead users, or contain prohibited content.

You may not transfer, sell, automate, or share an account in a way that compromises security. We may require email verification, additional authentication, or reasonable security measures.

3. Community standards

Keep MOVGIX useful, respectful, and relevant. You may not:

• Harass, threaten, exploit, discriminate against, or expose private information about another person.
• Post unlawful, sexually explicit, hateful, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful material.
• Spam, manipulate ratings or votes, coordinate inauthentic activity, or evade moderation.
• Impersonate another person or falsely claim an affiliation.
• Upload malware, probe security, scrape at unreasonable volume, interfere with service operation, or bypass technical limits.
• Post material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Use comments or reviews primarily for advertising or unauthorized external links.

Reviews should reflect a genuine opinion. Reports and appeals must be submitted in good faith.

4. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you create. By submitting content to MOVGIX, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make technical modifications to that content as needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve MOVGIX. This license lasts while your content remains on the service and for reasonable backup, legal, and archival periods.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and grant this license. Removing content does not require us to remove copies independently shared by others or records retained for security or legal reasons.

5. MOVGIX content and permitted use

MOVGIX and its licensors own the site design, branding, software, editorial work, graphics, and other protected material, excluding user content and third-party property. We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to access the service for personal, lawful use. You may link to public pages and use ordinary browser functions, but may not reproduce, resell, frame, republish, or commercially exploit protected MOVGIX material without permission.

Copyright concerns

To report material you believe infringes your copyright, email contact@movgix.com with identification of the work, the challenged location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, an accuracy and authority statement, and your physical or electronic signature. Knowingly false notices may create liability.

6. Third-party links, embeds, affiliate links, and promotions

MOVGIX may link to stores, platforms, social networks, videos, offers, or other third parties. We do not control their content, availability, security, prices, policies, or transactions. A link is not necessarily an endorsement.

Some links may be affiliate links, meaning MOVGIX may earn a commission from a qualifying action without increasing the price you pay. Sponsored or paid material will be identified where required. Prices, inventory, release dates, specifications, and offer terms can change; verify important details with the provider.

Some MOVGIX game profiles use metadata and cover art supplied by IGDB.com. IGDB is credited as the data source; MOVGIX remains responsible for its own editorial content. Game details can change, so verify important release information with the publisher or platform.

7. Moderation, suspension, and termination

We may review, restrict, hide, remove, preserve, or disclose content and may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the community, comply with law, or address risk. Moderation tools are imperfect and do not create an obligation to monitor every submission.

Where available, you may appeal a moderation decision using the appeal process. We may deny repetitive, abusive, fraudulent, or unsupported appeals. You may stop using MOVGIX and use available account deactivation or deletion controls at any time.

8. Editorial and service disclaimers

MOVGIX provides entertainment news, commentary, reviews, ratings, trailers, community content, and related information for general informational purposes. Opinions are subjective. Content may contain errors or become outdated. Nothing on MOVGIX is professional, legal, financial, medical, or investment advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Responsibility and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOVGIX and its operators, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Any limitation applies only to the extent enforceable under applicable law.

You are responsible for your unlawful use and for content you submit. Where permitted by law, you agree to indemnify MOVGIX against third-party claims arising from that conduct. If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law and courts will be determined by mandatory law and the location of the MOVGIX operator. Before filing a claim, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern informally. These Terms do not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived.
