Community Guidelines

Talk movies and games with personality, curiosity, and respect. Disagreement is welcome; abuse is not.

Effective September 7, 2026Applies to comments, replies, reviews, ratings, and reports

1. Be human. Add something.

  • Respect other people, even when you strongly disagree.
  • Stay relevant to the article, trailer, game, film, or discussion.
  • Critique ideas and media—not another user’s identity or worth.
  • Share genuine opinions and explain them when you can.
  • Protect personal information, including your own.

2. Content and conduct not allowed

Do not post harassment, threats, hate, targeted insults, sexual exploitation, graphic sexual material, instructions for wrongdoing, private personal information, impersonation, fraud, spam, malware, or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not evade filters, bans, rate limits, or moderation decisions. MOVGIX comments are not an advertising channel; unauthorized promotional and external links may be blocked.

3. Reviews, ratings, and votes

Reviews and ratings should represent your genuine experience or opinion. Do not coordinate review bombing, trade votes, use multiple accounts to manipulate scores, post copied reviews, or accept undisclosed compensation. A harsh review can be valid; deceptive score manipulation is not.

4. Spoilers and sensitive story details

Avoid unmarked spoilers when an article or discussion is not already centered on that plot point. Use any available spoiler formatting and give readers a meaningful warning. Deliberately spoiling unrelated discussions may be treated as disruption.

5. Reporting content

Use the report control beside eligible comments or content when you believe it violates these guidelines. Choose the closest reason and provide concise context. Reports are not downvotes and do not guarantee removal. False, retaliatory, or coordinated reporting may itself lead to restrictions.

6. How moderation works

MOVGIX may leave content in place, limit visibility, add context, remove content, warn a user, restrict features, suspend an account, or terminate access. Decisions consider severity, context, history, potential harm, and attempts to evade enforcement. Automated safeguards may assist but do not perfectly understand every context.

Removed or hidden comments cannot be newly reported because they are no longer publicly actionable, although existing reports and moderation records may remain available to authorized moderators.

7. Appeals and questions

When an appeal option is available, explain what was misunderstood or what has changed. Repeated duplicate appeals may be closed. Urgent safety concerns or questions can be sent to contact@movgix.com.
